Celebrating 20 Years as Just Get Outdoors!!

Welcome to
JUST GET OUTDOORS, our tailor-made-for-you outdoor adventure company where on every trip someone always says, “It just doesn’t get any better than this!”

And outdoors is where we are, hiking a ridge top trail surrounded by the spectacular vistas of the Great Smoky Mountains or enjoying an easy day’s ramble in search of wildflowers and birds. We might be following a rushing stream as it winds its way through the Adirondack Mountains destined for historic Lake Champlain. Perhaps we’re in a canoe quietly slipping by a sleeping alligator in the Everglades or paddling the cool, clear northern lakes of the Boundary Waters.

Wherever we are you can be sure our expert naturalist Liz Domingue is there to guide you, keep you safe, and help you gain an understanding of the natural history and ecology of the area.

And finally, at the end of the day, after all of the adventure, all of the awesome beauty of nature, all of the fun, all of the learning experiences, and all of the camaraderie, you will be the one to say, “It just doesn’t get any better than this!”

JGO wants to help you reach each and every one of your goals! Whether you want to take day hikes, paddle a canoe, or go backpacking, we’re there with you! We will show you the natural world from a new perspective. So, leave the rigors of your daily life and come along with us. Join us for our naturalist-led tours and education programs and make new discoveries for a memorable, exciting, and fun outdoor adventure! Together we will visit some spectacular places and see some truly awesome sights.

Here's a sample of what Liz offers on the trail.

Naturalist and Wildlife Biologist LIZ DOMINGUE leads the Great Smoky Mountains Association Hike from Clingman's Dome to Andrew's Bald to see the Azalea Display. 1.8 miles out and 1.8 miles back, well worth the trip and LIZ gave commentary all along the way. What a wonderful way to see the Great Smoky Mountain National Park! Click on this link to see the 6-minute video.
